My Paintings

I will convey what I am trying to say by my painting above. The painting is of a child, on his way to school. However, the image shows the child's emotions, beyond his physical circumstances. It shows he is in constant stress, anxiety, and worry. The eyes represent how many students feel that they must act a certain way to please others, such as teachers. It conveys the message that while education is a blessing, we must also excersise and educate the young about mental health and it's vital role in life.

It would be quite difficult to see what this painting conveys when just looking at it. It is of a planter, taking care of a tree, and then being rewarded with a fruit, falling from the tree. A nice way to think about the philosophy of, "you get what you give into the world".

This painting is not meant to look nice. I intended to make it look unappealing for reasons stated below. It is a point on our modern world today. We are polluting the Earth, and leaving no voice to speak up for this injustice. I the painting, you can see us consuming the Earth's resources while othrs living things suffer.

This is perhaps the most abstract painting that I did. There is not much in it, except for an owl sitting on a tree. When one gets a picture such as this, they are forced to make their own story of what is given to them. So I leave this to whoever is reading this, to do.
